What does it cost to diagnose my computer?

We do not charge a diagnostic fee for systems dropped off for service. We contact you within 1 business day with a quote for the repair.

Do you work on desktops?

Yes. We repair all makes and models of desktops.

What does your 6 month sales warranty include?

The 6 month warranty includes coverage of all hardware (including the battery). Software and virus/spyware issues are not covered.

Do you special order laptops or desktops?

No. To keep prices down and make future repairs as affordable as possible, we only stock our core line of laptops. We get new laptops in every week. Check our online store for a live update of what is in stock.

Do you sell desktops?

Our laptop prices are competitive with desktop pricing so we do not sell desktop computers. However, we do offer desktop computer repair.

Do you have a layaway plan?

No, but we do accept every major credit card.

How do you get to your store?

Cut through the Hobby Lobby parking lot on the back right side and turn right onto South Dixie Avenue.  Go up a hill and just at the top of the hill, the store will be in the bottom floor of a two story brick building. It will have “Laptop Geeks” on the door.

What is the least you would take for…

All laptops are sold with a 6 month warranty and 14 day return policy. We factor local support into our already low price so we cannot lower the price.

Do you offer discounts for multiple computers checked in for service?

No, unless one of the computers is previously bought from us. In that case, we offer a 20% discount on the repair.

Where do your laptops come from?

Many of our laptops are bought back from Dell or the manufacturer. The rest of our laptops are bought from 3rd party companies that we trust to sell us high-quality products.

Do you buy used laptops locally or take trade-ins?

Yes. Contact us or come by the store for a free quote.

What does re-certified mean?

Re-Certified means our laptops have been double-checked upon arrival before they are put up for sale. We run battery diagnostics, hard drive diagnostics, and make sure there is a clean installation of the operating system on the machine.

Why should I buy re-certified when I can buy new for xxx dollars more?

  • In many cases, our re-certified laptops can run better than new.
  • We have taken off all of the bulk promotional software that comes on new laptops.
  • We have thoroughly tested them and have also put up-to-date antivirus software on each machine.
